Lene Münch wins the Canon Profifoto Award

With my reportage about an istitute which is researching on highly dangerous animal diseases I won the Canon Profifoto Newcomer Award! Yeahh!
The pictures will be shown from september 23rd to 28th at the Photokina 2008 in the Visual Gallery in Cologne, Germany.

Cássia Lopes, 1972 born Brazil is dancing in the ballet ensemble of the State Opera House of Hannover since August 2006. I accompanied her from the rehearsals up to the premiere of Romeo and Juliet.

Prague without Vltava – unthinkable. Because the golden city in the mid of Europe gets its extraordinary charm from the river. At 30 kilometres are snakes through the city and it is interesting for both – the tourists and locals.

In autumn 2005, I was part of the photo project “As you can see it / Jak Ty To Widzisz” of the German-Polish early work. We were seven German-Polish two-party teams and we made a 10-day journey through Germany and Poland.
My Polish partner Ola Jachimska and I decided to look into German and Polish traditions. We met stereotypes as well as something special or unknown.
The hunt
